Prosecco- Part II
La Marca Valdobbiadene NV Extra Dry, a 90 points on Wine Spectator
A delicious bubbly for the price, elegant label and package. I discovered it few years ago and ever since our summertime is a lot about this sparkling.. it looks good at a lunchtime table set by the pool.
Produced solely from Prosecco grapes, the wine is a bright pale yellow, with straw notes in the glass. A well-balanced prosecco with apple and pear notes, crisp acidity and medium body.
It is ideal as an aperitif and we also serve it with shellfish dishes, mature and hard cheese or even rich fish such as salmon, tuna.
Always serve it chilled between 8-10°C. It can be served in sparkling flutes or white wine (Sauvignon) glasses.
