Ski escape at Alpenrose Chalet, Austria

Bramberg am Wildkogel, located in the Wildkogel Arena ski area, is a picturesque village with a family-friendly atmosphere. The chalets and apartments in the resort have been built to a high standard and an attractive design, using natural materials such as wood and stone.

Bramberg is around 30 minutes drive from Zell am See, 40 minutes from Kitzbühel, and it is easily accessible from Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich airports.

Our stay at Alpenrose – one of the chalets of the GrünerStein estate, – was memorable in that it is such a quiet, relaxed spot right in the heart of Bramberg, just meters from the ski lift, with stunning views of the mountains around, and a short walking distance to the restaurants and shops of the village.

Featuring 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, the chalet is beautifully decorated and fully furnished, including a top quality kitchen. It has a ski locker and a ski boots warmer. It can host up to 10 people, being perfect for families or groups of friends.

The Wildkogel is a 2,224 m high mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps in Oberpinzgau, in the state of Salzburg. The Wildkogel Arena has 61 kilometres of ski slopes, with 18 lifts, suited for both beginners and advanced skiers. The highest lift takes passengers up to 2,150 metres. One of the main attractions is the longest toboggan run in Europe, with 14 kilometres from the top of the mountain to Bramberg.

For the summer season, the chalet is perfect for hiking and golf holidays (there are several golf courses within a 30 minutes drive, including the renowned Eichenheim in Kitzbühel).
