Murivale
First time I heard about Vasile Muresan Murivale was when a friend came with one of his paintings as a present. The painting, “The Notre Dame de Paris” is ever since, placed in the spotlight of the living room, enchanting our view. So I was curious to meet the painter, this eccentric artist, impossible to ignore throughout his personality or his paintings. He is the man that brings color!
Love of color and emotional expression run through each of his paintings.
Murivale is exploring current ideas with contemporary painting techniques. His art follows painting practices of Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, Willem de Kooning, Gerhard Richter.
This Neo-Expressionist artist demonstrated his diverse approach in few series such as “Rude divine”, “Chipuri in ostrovul sufletului”, that are responses to his life experiences. Througout his paintings, Vasile Muresan celebrates simplicity and explores the emotional self. You can find him at his gallery, in the old city, on a charming narrow street, Stelea Spataru.
