“TANGO. Radio and Juliet” is playing again in May, at the National Opera, in Bucharest. A spectacle of modern ballet by the Romanian dancer and choreographer Edward Clug.

The 1^st  play is TANGO– the dance of the passion..  a choreography full of emotion, sensuality, seduction, connection, on the rhythms of Astor Piazzolla, Goran Bregovic, Jean-Marc Zelwer or Francesca Gagnon with her famos Querer.

The 2^nd part of the show, Radio and Juliet, is Edward Clug’s modern ballet rendition of the tragic romance on the music of Radiohead. “You could call this quite a twisted version… My intention was not to retell the story but offer the audience an experience from a different perspective.” A quite impressive one, I must say.
