A rosé for a hot day! Recalling summertime..
In the summertime, one of our choices is Château de la Deidiére, from Côtes de Provence, a region known predominantly for its rosé wine.
Provence is the largest wine region specializing in dry rosé worldwide, with more than 2,600 years of winemaking, ever since the ancient Greeks founded the city of Marseille in 600 BC. Here, the viticulture and winemaking have been influenced by the cultures that have been present in Provence: the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Gauls, Catalans and Savoyards.
Château de la Deidiére is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache Noir, Carignane and Cinsault. It is very well paired with cheese, spices, soups, shellfish or even as an apperitif.
You can find this rosé for around 9€ at Comtesse du Barry.
My advise: enjoy your wine in a good company! 😉
